Baked brie

For baked brie, you will need:

300g brie, cut into medium chunks

4 tbsp cranberry sauce

1 tbsp muscovado sugar

4 tbsp maple syrup

1 square or rectangular sheet of puff pastry (about 220g)

(serves 4 as an appetizer)

Place the unrolled pastry sheet on a non-stick oven sheet, arrange the brie pieces over one half of the pastry. Spread the cranberry sauce over the other half.

Fold the half with the jam over the half with the brie, pressing down with a fork to lock in the edges. Drizzle the syrup over the top and sprinkle the sugar over.

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes, until the pastry is golden. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
